Nothing in the Wali platform, website, emails, reminders, shared links, certificates, or supporting content is veterinary advice, a diagnosis, a treatment recommendation, or a recommendation that any action be taken or withheld. This is true of information the Service displays to you and equally true of information it displays to any third party you share with.
Using Wali does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship between you and Wali or between you and anyone associated with Wali. Only a licensed veterinarian who has examined your animal can establish that relationship.
Wali stores and organizes the records you enter or upload. It does not verify, authenticate, or validate any record, date, certification, or document, and it has no relationship with the veterinarian, clinic, shelter, or provider that issued any document you upload.
Information extracted automatically from a document you upload may be incomplete or incorrect. You are responsible for reviewing extracted information and correcting it before you rely on it or share it with anyone.
Status indicators the Service displays, including any indication that a vaccination is current, due, or expired, are calculated from the information you supplied or approved. They are informational only. They are not verification, certification, or proof of anything, and they do not recommend any veterinary action.
Wali may send reminders before a vaccination expires or a record comes due. Those reminders depend on the dates in your account, on your notification settings, and on email delivery working correctly. Do not treat a reminder, or the absence of one, as confirmation that your pet is or is not due for care. Wali does not warrant that any reminder will be generated, delivered, or delivered on time, and is not responsible for care that is delayed or missed.
A certificate or shared link reports the information in your account as a matter of fact. It states what is recorded. It does not recommend, approve, clear, or authorize anything, and it is not a veterinarian's attestation.
Any person who receives a shared link, including a groomer, boarding facility, day care, trainer, landlord, or shelter, is responsible for their own admission and care decisions and should request original documentation from the issuing veterinarian where their own requirements, insurer, or state or local law demands it. Wali makes no representation that information displayed through a shared link satisfies any legal, regulatory, insurance, licensing, or facility requirement.
Wali is for animal records. Do not store human medical records or information about any person's health in the Service. Wali is not a covered entity or a business associate under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and nothing stored in the Service is protected health information under that Act.
Articles, stories, guides, and other general content published by Wali are for general information only. They are written for a general audience, are not specific to your animal, and are not a substitute for consulting a licensed veterinarian who has examined your pet. Where content is written or reviewed by a licensed veterinarian, that person is not acting as your pet's veterinarian, is not forming a veterinarian-client-patient relationship with you, and cannot answer questions about a specific animal.
You are solely responsible for your pet's health and care, for the accuracy of the records you keep, and for any decision you or a third party makes based on information stored in or shared through Wali. Always consult a licensed veterinarian regarding your pet's health.
Your use of the Service is subject to the Terms of Service, including the disclaimers of warranty in Section 13 and the limitation of liability in Section 14.
